At Christmas time I love to cook dishes that are full of Christmas colours, this dish is the perfect example of this. The bright green beans and cranberries will add lovely Christmas colours to your buffet.
What you’ll need:
200g green beans
2 tbs butter
Pinch sea salt and pepper
Zest from 1 lemon
¼ cup dried cranberries
2 tbs almond slivers
How to put this together:
- Top and tail your beans.
- Add the beans along with the water and butter to a large frypan.
- Cook over a medium heat for 2minutes, until the beans are just cooked through and are a bright green colour.
- Toss through the salt, pepper, lemon zest, cranberries and almond slivers and cook for a further minute.
- Serve the beans on a platter and top with some extra lemon zest and almond slivers.
