Christmas Brandy Bliss Balls

I love Christmas time. I love putting up the decorations, spending time with family, sharing gifts and most of all enjoying some amazing food. One of my favorite foods to enjoy during Christmas time are fruit mince pies. Unfortunately they don’t love me or my waistline as much!

Rather than deny myself the pleasure of eating them I have created a healthier alternative instead, these Christmas Brandy Bliss Balls are a much lighter and sugar free alternative!

Happy sprouting, baking and cooking!

Christmas Brandy Bliss Balls

Ingredients

1 cup of almonds
1 cup of sultanas
1 cup of dried apple slices
zest of 1 lemon
zest of 1 orange
1 teaspoon of cinnamon
2 teaspoons of mixed spice
1 tablespoon of brandy

Instructions

This really is an incredibly simple recipe, all you need to do is pop all of the above ingredients into a food processor and blend for 5 minutes, until the mixture has combined and holds together.

Remove mixture from the food processor and roll into small balls.

These will keep in the fridge for up to 2 months, the longer you keep them the more the flavors will develop and the yummier they will taste!
